Landsberg concentration camp

The Landsberg am Lech concentration camp was located in the German state of Bavaria and became well known because Hitler was imprisoned there after his failed coup. He wrote Mein Kampf while imprisoned in Landsberg in 1924.
Landsberg am Lech concentration camp was under the command of Kaufering camp, which in turn was an outpost of Dachau. The camp was liberated on 27 April 1945 by Americans of the 2nd Armored Division.
